Donations help the club massively with purchasing new equipment, and running events such as the Club Championships and sending a teams to competitions, whether it be local or to the World Championships.

Our Retford to Australia challenge on Strava….
Walk, swim, run, or cycle as a team to the Gold Coast. Our goal was to travel by these means a total of 10, 250 miles from Retford to The Gold Coast. We had a go fund me page for anyone who wished to sponsor our challenge.
Foreign Currency Collection
We had a currency collection box in local places around Retford… if you have any old or unwanted foreign currency we will gladly accept your donations.

Here are some of the events we participate in where we can to boost club funds.
- Swimathon – 9th March 2024. Every year we take part in Retford Rotary Club‘s Annual Swimathon, All attending members will swim for around 15 minutes, and can be sponsored per length or a fixed amount. The money raised will be split between Retford Lifesavers and a Rotary-nominated charity. Parents are welcome to turn up and swim too – the more the merrier!
